Jealousy

I’m sad to say that I am feeling so jealous. I don’t really want to feel this way but I don’t know how to control it. I had a dream that I had just a friendly encounter with an old fling, but when I woke up I guess my dream invoked feelings that I had thrown into the back of my brain and heart. I prayed on it, but I know that I need to give myself some time. Does one ever get over their first really big crush? Logic is telling me that this is not fair. It has been an entire year and I cannot get over this stupid crush that went nowhere. To top it off the first day that I decide to come back to my Twitter I find his girlfriend posting stupid carp about “my baby”…just GREAT! Like I said I tried praying on it but along with the yearn for time I am feeling disappointed with myself. I am disappointed that I let them get to me. By letting myself get jealous of her, I am showing such an insecure side of myself. I don’t want to be that insecure girl anymore. In order to let good into my life I have to let God into it. Maybe that is the lesson God is bringing to my life. I need to completely get over this mess that I have been pushing into the back of my heart. By surfacing my feelings maybe I can push them completely out of my system. No one ever said life and live were easy, everyone just says that it’s worth it. Well tonight I will pray to God that he had my entire heart under lock and key until I meet the perfect person for me. At this point I don’t think I can handle that much responsibility.
